911 Pips Missed By DeMarkTrader EA Today In Interbankfx Live Forex Account

DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor was behaving abit weird today in my Interbankfx live forex account today.

A short trade @ 2.0350 with TP @ 2.0150, 2.0131, 2.0106, 2.0102 should have been triggered actually by the EA in my live account but it didn't. When I checked the EA in my other Interbankfx Demo account, the trades were opened. I am still thinking rite now why the trade was not opened in my live account. All together I missed about 911 pips! That is a lot of pips to be missed! :(

The version I used in this EA was v12b which I applied to both my live and demo account. By the way, the MT4 version is Build 211. Same EA version, but one was a no trade...I need to investigate further why this thing happen today...There is a lot of request from all of you as to when you can purchase the EA, but I still think the EA has not reach a stable state yet. Because of this I cannot simply rush to sell my EA, that would be unfair to you rite... I want to sell an EA only when it works perfectly in demo as well as live account. Patient Guys!

Last Friday I also started new tests for FXDD and ODL Metatrader platform. Below are the details of the test results so far.

Initially, TrendFilter was ON for ODL last Friday, that's why the trades are lesser compared to FXDD. I have since set it to OFF today.





I believe that this powerful DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor will be the key for you guys to make good money in the forex trading market. The minor challenge I faced today is just a temporary hiccup, let's hope that version 13c will perform better both demo and live trading forex accounts.

490 Pips Loss Last Friday

Not a good day for Demark Expert Advisor last Friday. I didn't monitor the EA last Friday as I was holidaying in Genting Highlands Resort, one of the famous tourist destination and casino in Malaysia...Been there before? Google it if you are curious to know about this place... I was there since Thursday and I only came back today...will post some of the pics I took there in my future posts...I came back to check my forex live account which was running this EA, only to see that I had a 490 pips loss over the weekend...

Here are the analysis of both trades

1. Sell GBP/CHF @ 1.9662 (406 Pips Loss) - Demark EA opened positions according to plan but there was alot of buyers waiting at this level, market reversed and the EA closed all positions with a 406 pips loss.

2. Sell GBP/CHF @ 2.0051 (84 Pips Loss) - Demark EA open 1 sell position @ 2.0051 and 3 positions at 2.0050. One pip makes all the difference, the 1st sell position @ 2.0051 was closed at breakeven but the other 3 positions did not...This is due to the price difference when the trades were opened.

Refer to my live forex statement to see the trades analysis. Overall, I am still up by 77 pips for April forex trading, still there is about 1 week plus to go...let's see how it closed for this month...My account is still up by 42% since March 2008

I made money trading forex with Demark Expert Advisor again!

I made money once more! Another impressive forex killer gain today by the Demark Expert Advisor. Forget about the missed opportunity trading the GBP/CHF pair last Friday by this EA...just wait for the rite trade setup and your profits will roll again with this EA... I am using this EA on my Interbankfx Metatrader Platform Version 4 Build 2.11 at the moment, switching from the previous Build 2.15

Yesterday i opened short trades at around 1.9723 and all my 4 positions hit respective profit targets today to closed with a profit of 327 Pips. That's a very huge gain. My SL was @ 1.9846. The positive retail sales number in the US pushed the pair up to 1.9833 which was only 13 pips from my SL...that is so so near... Bearish trend continued later as sellers came in again...The market is not looking very good for the bulls lately, with recession looming in the US, my bet is to be on the short side for this GBP/CHF pair at the moment. Remember, the trend is your friend.

My automated forex trading strategy has been quite impressive i would say. My live forex account profit rite now is up by about 66% from my original deposited amount. Total pips collected so far in April is 567 pips and March was 925 Pips, making it a total of 1492 pips. If you want to see my March results, please go to my previous postings. At the moment, my preferred broker is Interbankfx. I am testing ODL and FXDD also to see the consistencies of my automated forex trading results using other forex brokers. With the release of my EA, I hope that you guys will start to make real money in forex trading. If you are new, don't give up too soon ok if you are at the losing end most of the time. There will always be obstacles in your journey to being successful in online forex trading. It took me 2 years to get to where I am rite now...I lost big chunks of money, very very expensive forex lesson i would say...I remember once I lost alot of money in forex trading, what I did next was to take a short break from live trading and go back to demo trading again...You should do this too if you are losing money rite now...Well look on the bright side! Missed Trades By Demark Expert Advisor

I updated my IBFX forex broker metatrader 4.00 from build 2.11 to 2.15 to see if there is any difference in opening trades by the profitable Demark Forex Expert Advisor. True enough, the EA opened trades in my demo forex account (Build 2.11) but in my live forex trading account (Build 2.15) it did not open any trades last Friday. I missed some good pips last Friday.

Trades Opened by Demark Expert Advisor in Demo Account

Sell GBP/CHF @ 1.9770 with TP @ 1.9696, 1.9658, 1.9636 and 1.9632 with SL 1.9917.

Lowest Point was @ 1.9659. Using my forex strategy exit rule, I would have exited with about 185 pips profit...

I told you that Friday was a good day to short this pair. However I did made money in my other live account which I opened trades manually. I have since reverted the EA to trade on Build 2.11 while trying to figure out why the trades did not opened in Build 2.15

Demark Expert Advisor Sold GBP/CHF @ 1.9694 Today

Ambitious! That's the word to describe my Demark Expert Advisor today... my Demark auto forex trading system software shorted GBP/CHF @ 1.9694 with four targets between 1.9160 to 1.9375. The EA was looking for a 320 pips target on my first Target Profit which didn't materialize.

My live forex account was gaining a total of 400 pips and I decided to trailstop them in case of any reversal. Well, strong reversal begun at 1.9579 and rite now the pair is floating around 1.9880. I only managed to book a total of 14 pips in total because of this reversal. Remember this, never ever let winning trades to turn out to be a losers yeah...at least i still made money in today's trade...

Past Tuesday and Wednesday I hope some of you made money shorting this pair. My Demark Expert Advisor didn't open any short trades as the added filters didn't give good signal to it to enter positions.

Tomorrow is Friday and I love trading forex on this day especially on the short side. Profit taking is always happening on Friday when most traders close all their positions to cash out their profits. If you are new, don't worry about holding open positions going into the weekend. It is fine as long as you know what you are doing. When I first started, most traders i know will advise me not to trade on Friday or hold positions into the weekend. As time goes by, I think it's all craps!

Let's hope we have a good short trade signal on GBP/CHF tomorrow...

My Metatrader Demark Expert Advisor Made Money Again!

Another Whopping Pips! Yesterday, the Demark Expert Advisor went into sell mode again trading the GBP/CHF in the forex market. As you can see from my live forex account below, the EA shorted this pair @ 2.0138 with SL of 2.0198.

After the trendline was broken, market reversed when i took my short position and rally abit up to 2.0188. Phew...just 10 pips shy of hitting my SL. Downtrend continued after that and market was ranging abit when during US market closing.

This morning i woke up and found out that 3 targets was met...i trailstop my last position to lock my profits in case the market reverse. It retrace abit before continuing another downtrend during the Euro/UK session and bottomed at 1.9887. I took profit early though with my Demark Expert Advisor preset targets, a total of 211 pips today.

My pips count as of today stands at 1151 pips since i started live auto trading in March. The account is now up by about 50% using aggressive settings... My total pips for April is 226. I am waiting for my account to rise to $400 before i double my lot size again. Wish me luck!

NonFarm Payrolls (NFP) Trades By Demark Expert Advisor

Two trades were triggered by Demark Expert Advisor last Friday, before and after the NFP news release. The EA took a short trade earlier @ 2.0155 with SL set to 2.0215. My SL was hit resulting a loss of 238 pips. This was just rite before the NFP news release. March Nonfarm Payrolls fell to -80k, which is a third consecutive decline after last January and February. US is heading for a recession, things are not looking good, but it will be good as long u remain on the short side for this pair though at the moment :) ...



Another short trade was triggered after the NFP news @ 2.0130, in which all of my 4 positions closed with profit of 253 pips. My forex trading result for now is up by 15 pips for the month of April. Little pips for the moment but still it's profit! I hope we can achieve good pips trading in April!

I think that trendline breaks is another simple way to trade the forex market. Some people might not agree with me though, well, good for you if you have other trading methods which giving you good profits. BUT I do not think commercializing part of an idea that i learned from some forex forum is wrong as i have also put some effort on my part to fine tune it...

My Demark Expert Advisor did not follow 100% the idea of Demark trendline break. What I did was that after analyzing my forex trading results by this EA in my Demo account which i started in November, I tweak it and added my own filters. By doing this, I was very confident with my EA that I started to run it on my live account last month, March.

Oh yeah, the deposit is only $213.27. A very small amount of money to you maybe... But at least it's good enough for me to run my EA live and make a 40% return last month. Oh by the way, I have other live accounts as well, I created this account just to track my Demark Expert Advisor live performance...

I have lost money trading in forex 2 years back when i started. Things didn't go well for me though at the start. Maybe you just started forex trading and is all excited rite now. I hope this enthusiasm will be in you always. I persevered and didn't give up my dream to become a profitable forex trader eventhough i experienced some major losses in my first year of trading. The money I lost is a blow to me as the amount is quite huge. Nevertheless, the dream is always alive in me and kicking! There is always ups and downs in forex trading, just be ready to face it!

At this moment, i am happy to say that I am profitable as a trader and I wish to share my experience with you if you come along on a journey with me. I am not in a hurry to sell my Demark Expert Advisor at the moment as I would like to see if there is any further bugs in it. Great performance by Demark Expert Advisor in March! The EA grabbed 925 pips for this month with a 40% increase of profit.

Here is my short analysis for live auto forex trading in March 2008.

Percentage Gained: 40%
Pips Captured: 925 Pips
Trade Setting: Aggressive, Risk between 10-40% of my account at times.

Bad Trades: Highlighted in Yellow. Additional Trade opened near reversal point during new trendline break, causing 3 huge losses of 717 pips. I have since rectified this problem in the Demark Expert Advisor.
Bad Holiday Trade: Easter Day, 558 pips loss. Moral of the story: Don't trade during holiday season when European and US market is not open...

My last short trades @ 1.9877 briefly touch 220 pips per position before closing about 120 pips per position. Profits were locked using manually set Trailing Stop. Took about 480 pips just these trades alone. Since then a very big rally to the upside for the past 2 days, around 450 pips roughly, rite now it is at 2.0100. I did not take this long trade as the GBP/CHF is still in bearish zone now.

I am looking forward to a good month in April trading using the Demark Expert Advisor. Rite now I am busy setting up the payment processor so that I can sell the EA real soon! Stay Tuned for the launch of this exciting EA!

Demark Expert Advisor GBP/CHF Live Trade Update

What an excellent start in forex trading this week! My GBP/CHF short trades opened by Demark Expert Advisor @ 1.9877 is in profit so far! Been a roller coaster ride for me in this trade since it was opened..last Thursday and also this morning during early Asian Session where the pair briefly touched 1.9934 before selling off and hitting a low of 1.9647 rite now as I am writing.

My target profits are quite big if you look at the chart i posted, so I manually put trailstops to all my orders to lock some profits in case market reverse before touching my first profit target. I have locked about total 480 pips at the moment.

I am still bearish on GBP/CHF at the moment. So no long trades by the Demark Expert Advisor at the moment! Let's see what happens later after lunchtime in US going into tomorrow Asian session. Go Bear! Go!

How to install DemarkTrader Expert Advisor & Demark Indicator

Installing Demark Indicator & DemarkTrader Expert Advisor.

The file Demark Lines.ex4 should be copied to the C:\Program Files\Interbank FX Trader 4\experts\indicators folder.

Then, the file DemarkTrader V12b(Your IBFX Account Number).ex4 should be copied to the C:\Program Files\Interbank FX Trader 4\experts\ folder.

After you have copied the file into the folder, please restart your Interbank FX Trader 4.

If all are done correctly, the Demark Lines and DemarkTrader Expert Advisor will be found in Navigator as shown below.



Open a new chart (H1) for GBP/CHF and in the Navigator windows, double click Demark Lines and click OK.



Then also double click DemarkTrader V12b(Your Account Number).

In Common parameter shown below, tick Enable alerts and Allow Live Trading.



To allow autotrading by an expert advisor, click on the Expert Advisors button on the panels of the Interbank FX Trader 4.

EA ENABLED

EA DISABLED

If all is correctly setup, the right top corner of the H1 GBP/CHF chart will appear the Expert Advisor symbol with a smiley face as shown below.



Voila! The DemarkTrader EA is on autotrading mode and does not demand your presence 24 hours per day again!

Make sure you computer is constantly connected to the Internet.

Demark Expert Advisor Live Trades Update

The short trades opened by the Demark Expert Advisor few days back is still floating. Went thru some bumpy rides on Thursday, with GBP/CHF rallying abit to 2.0088 before continuing its downtrend in Friday. I moved my SL manually from 2.0267 to 2.0097 after US trading Lunchtime to minimize any losses (in case) going into the weekend before I went to bed.

I woke up this morning to see that the forex rate is now at 1.9838, that's a gain of about 158 pips (4 positions). I have not close them yet. Let's see what happens when the market opens on Monday...
Account is still up 19% with a gain of 444 pips so far this month.

Demark Expert Advisor Easter "EggPips" Break :(

Looking at my title, Easter Day didn't get really well for my forex trading. I was short GBPCHF @ 1.9999 going into Easter Day. Bad decision to let the Demark Expert Advisor run during last Thursday closing going into Easter Day. Volatility was low on Easter Day, Spreads was wide...and Monday morning Asian Session it spike and voila! It hit my SL @ 2.0138.

I think I will skip forex trading in the future during major holidays when market is close both in Europe and US. At least I learn something today, Easter Day Trading is a No No next time for sure!

The 4 short positions I opened resulted a 558 Pip Loss. It's ok. Losses is part of the game in Forex.

Today was a good day though! I earn some pips shorting GBPCHF @ 2.0167. I got 138 pips from 3 positions while the last position was breakeven.

After these trades, my total pips count is at 444 pips, down from last week's close of 864 pips. The account is still up at the moment, 19% profit from my starting balance. I am still happy with the performance of this EA.

Forex Trading Update: +864 Pips Auto Trading GBP/CHF in Live Account So Far...

What a week it has been in live forex for me! My Favorite Demark Expert Advisor briefly gained total 1,211 pips, up 88 pips from the previous week trades before closing for a total of 864 pips since the start of live auto trading. I am now short from 1.9999 going into the weekend. Let's see how the trades develop over the following week.

Looking at my forex live statement, you can see that I have highlighted some trades in yellow. These are actually new positions added by the Demark Expert Advisor when new trendlines are broken when price is moving in the same trend. However these 3 trades highlighted have resulted 717 Pips Loss. I am not too happy about these bad trades. I have added a new RULE to my EA and I have since tweak it over the weekend to rectify this problem. If not because of this problem, the EA would have bagged a total over 1,500 pips alone this month.

Well at least I am still in positive territory with my live account still up about 39%. Please bear in mind that this result was achieved using aggressive forex trading strategy, risking about 20-40% of my account. Last week alone i had 2 breakeven trades, on the 17th and 19th of this month which are highlighted in pink. My last profitable trade was close for 88 pips profit. However the 88 pips profit was later erased as the EA took a bad trade which resulted a 347 Pips Loss! I have since rectified this problem in my Demark Expert Advisor.

Short GBPCHF (My Favorite Forex Pair at the Moment) @ 1.9723 with TP set to 1.9605, 1.9595, 1.9584, 1.9553

I was sleeping when this trade was opened by the Demark EA. I woke up only and found that it was actually making good pips, temptation to close was there...but it's automated rite, so let's not interfere with the trades. Lowest bid price was actually 1.9602, this means taking into consideration of the spread, it was actually 1.9611. I missed my first target profit by 6 pips only...that would be 400 pips gain this morning alone IF i were to manually set it to 100 pips per position...IF is a word most traders like to use in forex trading... :)

Anyway i chose not to interfere with my EA and let it run...

The Demark Expert Advisor actually moved all the the orders to breakeven few hours later. All orders was finally closed with no profit when market reversed...and i needed to pay the overnite swaps... :(

Anyway if anyone was on the long side today, you must be having a good time harvesting fat pips...easily could have made about 300 pips, looking at the chart rite now...nice rally today... I didn't take the trade as I have configured my forex EA to take short trades only at this moment...maybe we see another new low by this week? Who knows rite...after last Monday big dip...anything can happen...

Forex Trading Update: Demark Expert Advisor Scoop Up 1,042 pips over the weekend!

Wow!!! That's what I could only say to myself this morning when I woke up to see my MT4 Interbankfx forex platform. My Demark Expert Advisor closed the last 3 floating positions and made a total 1,042 pips from the 4 orders opened last Friday!

GBPCHF drop about 200 pips over the weekend, which I expected it anyway...however I didn't expect panic selling across Asia during today's open..about 700 pips drop in GBPCHF this morning alone hitting a record low at 1.9377...Spillover effect from last Friday US session heavy selling I guess...Those who were long GBPCHF and GBPJPY over the weekend, I just hope that you guys have recovered from this morning shock...

I DID NOT EXPECT THIS HUGE DROP IN ASIAN SESSION...



The money made so far from my automated forex trading is good! I am up about 51.8% from my initial deposit $213.27 making my current balance now $323.90. So far since inception, the Demark Expert Advisor have scoop up a total of 1,123 pips to date...I would say it a very impressive performance by this EA! Let see how this EA will perform in the whole of this month forex trading.

Currency Trading Update : Demark Expert Advisor Live Results On InterbankFX Forex Broker

I began testing the Demark Expert Advisor since the end of last month February on the Interbankfx Forex Broker MT4 Trading Platform. On some occassions, I did notice that profit targets in forex live accounts were abit different if we compared them with forex demo accounts. This is maybe due to the difference in price bar between live and demo forex accounts. I have also seen that there are some trades taken in demo but were not taken in forex live account because of this.

Anyway, my automatic online currency trading system using the Demark Expert Advisor did went smoothly up to yesterday, opening trades as i want them to... So far so good. I have added some filters to the EA so that it will be profitable and will only open trades in direction of the longer time frame trend...if everything works well, i think this Demark Expert Advisor will be release for sale soon in April or May.

My forex gains on this EA has been YoYo since I started...Down about 224 pips at the beginning during February trades. In 1st week of March, the Demark Expert Advisor close with 68 Pips profit...last week, it closed with a 416 pips profit...In total, I have book 260 pips since i started this forex autotrading system. My live account is currently up about 11% from my balance..Do remember though, looking at my trades, I am risking about 20-30% of my account each time the EA open all 4 positions...This is very aggressive! I am willing to take this risk as I know what I am doing and I take full responsibility for any of my losses.

I just check the currency trading rates in Reuters UK site, GBPCHF is at 2.0145. I have 3 open positions at the moment with TP @ 2.1054, 2.0138 and 2.0119 and I expect to have at least 2 of the positions, if not all 3 positions, in the bag once i reopen my IBFX currency trading platform this coming Monday. If all 3 positions are hit, my account should be up about 50% from my starting balance. At the moment, I am still seeing bearish trend on GBPCHF and the trend have not reversed yet...With all the uncertainties in the financial market lately, it would not be wise to trade against the current bearish trend in my opinion...

March Demark Expert Advisor Trading Performance in ODL H1

I have been busy for the past few days, my country Malaysia just had a general election to form a new government yesterday. I voted and I followed the election results yesterday till the wee hours in the morning...

It was really exciting! Our ruling government just managed to secure simple majority this time, short of the 2/3 majority they were targeting initially. The ruling party have been taught a lesson by the people of Malaysia. We can label this election as their worst. It was their heaviest defeat all time. 5 states from the total 13 states fell to the opposition for the first time! A new record in Malaysian Election History! Massive losses to the ruling government indeed! I am going to have a new state government too!

Talking about massive losses, I too experienced huge pips losses in the first week of March trading the Demark Expert Advisor on my ODL H1 currency trading platform. -3,721 pips to be exact!

All pairs performed badly this week. Only GBP/CHF, GBP/JPY and USD/JPY was gaining pips this week. Let's hope that my Demark Auto Trading System will show a better results this coming week. Account was up briefly at about 65% profit early this week, before reducing to 30% at the close of last week...

I will be opening a live account with ODL soon and run my Expert Advisor there to compare the live results with the ODL demo platform. At the moment I am trading this EA live with Interbankfx..it is performing well as an EA, opening orders without any bugs so far. If the EA is on the rite track, i will release it for sale this coming April or May.

I have compiled the auto trading results run on the Demark Expert Advisor on the ODL platform on various pairs (15 to be exact). Below will be my analysis by currency pairs.

I had a loss on the GBP/CHF auto trade this month. The Demark Expert Advisor opened a trade which was not suppose to be triggered. My connection to ODL was lost about 4 hours, immediately after reconnection, the trade was open eventhough the bar was within both trendlines. As a result, I suffered about 4,000 USD loss on this trade. Looking at my account balance, if we ignore this error, account balance should have been around 151K. That is an increase of 51% profit since inception (3 months). That is a return about 16-17% monthly. At the moment of writing, the floating profit is at 11K...not bad...

Looking at the Demark Expert Advisor Forex Performance, I am very impressed with GBP/CHF and GBP/JPY results so far. GBP/CHF and GBP/JPY bagged a total of 4,956 Pips and 3,093 Pips respectively. As for other pairs, I am still not that convinced that they are profitable over the long term. Let me test them further.

The release of the Demark Expert Advisor is still on hold. I am doing more testing at the moment. I know that alot of you readers out there is asking me when I am going to release this EA for sale; at the moment, I am still tweaking it. GBP/CHF Demark Expert Advisor Trading Performance Up To Date (With Daily Filter)

I am back. Been having some hectic days lately. My Demark Expert Advisor is still undergoing major forward testing. At the moment, I am only testing on 2 currency trading brokers which are Interbankfx and OLD Securities. So far I am pretty satisfied with my auto trading system on both these platforms. The only thing is that there is still some bugs to be fixed before I release it for sale...

Here is a true story which happened last week. On one occassion, an erratic trade was opened on in the ODL platform for the GBP/CHF pair. I was disconnected for about 4 hours and when it reconnected, trade was open even though the price was in between both trendlines...Weird.. It should not have open in the first place. Well, i am working to fix this bug to make sure such things won't happen in the future...I will post this erratic trade on my ODL Demark Trading analysis in my next post...

For my loyal readers out there who can't wait to purchase this EA, please be patient. I wouldn't want to rush into selling my EA to you all. Although I can't wait to sell it, but I need to ensure that only quality EA will be sold; that is after extensive testing have been done and most important I do not get weird trades opening.

In this latest update, I am focusing on the Demark Expert Advisor performance trading the GBP/CHF on the Interbankfx Platform on the Hourly Timeframe. I have decent results for the past 2 months, +1,221 pips for January and +259 Pips for January to date.

If you look at my statement, you can see that my trade lots are different. This is because I am testing the Money Management aspect for the EA which is based on Equity Stop. What this means is that I will risk a predetermined amount of my account on a total of all 4 trades. I have set it to 2.5 percent for each trade, this means risking a total 10% of my account in for all the 4 trades opened. Once the equity risk % and stop are determined, the EA will then open the appropriate lot size. At the moment the EA is opening the lot size as I wanted. However I am still testing this MM feature to make sure it's working fine.

With a 10% risk, the EA have been making a total of 73% profit for the past 2 months. Impressive returns! However 10% would be considered as very aggressive to me. I would not recommend this setting for anyone who is going to trade using this EA in the near future. My personal recommendation is to risk about 4% if you have to open 4 positions at once. If the EA can return about 10-20% monthly, I am more than happy. Let's preserve our account for the long term. 10% monthly will generate about 120% return annually. Let's not be greedy. However if you wish to risk 10% of your equity, it's your choice.

By adding a daily filter to the Demark Expert Advisor, I have eliminated bad trades from opening. However when I compare my results in Interbankfx (using Filter) with the ODL (No Filter) platform, I noticed that the results of trading in ODL for the GBP/CHF pair is just as impressive. In my EA, i will have an option if you would like to use the filter or not.

Looking at my last live currency trading which i bagged about 360 pips on the GBP/CHF pair, we could have earned more pips if I let my last trade to run instead of exiting at my preset TP at 2.1654. It rallied down further till 2.1257... Wow! Another 400 pips profit if i were to let it run! I am now thinking of manually changing my fourth trade TP so that i can grab more pips! At the moment I am still bearish on GBP/CHF. For this week, my EA is all set to run in my live account. Let's see how the Demark EA will perform in this coming week.

I am convinced that this EA will work well trading the GBP/CHF pair. For the other pairs, I am still testing. I hope that the GBP/JPY will show some consistency as well. Rite now GBP/JPY is in negative territory; Let's hope it's fortune will reverse this week. As for other pairs, I am still not convinced that it will be consistend over the long run though...
