I am back after a short absence. Been busy over the last few months.

Studied some data on trading GBPJPY with the DemarkTrader EA. Here are the results.

This EA is not for sale.

Meanwhile, here is the screenshot of the result. Almost 24% gain after only 9 days. Impressive!

As for GBPCHF, I am testing on some modifications first. So no managed account for this pair yet.

ODL Demark Expert Advisor June Report

Demark Expert Advisor closed the month of June for a total of 602 pips. Rebounded from the previous month of May which closed with a disappointing 1544 pips loss. I have done a recap for the system combining both my demo account 71909 which i stopped on 15 April 2008. The reason i change to another demo account in ODL is because the previous account I had records of trading with multiple pairs. In order to simplify everything, i ran this EA on another forex demo account in ODL with the account number 212530. I have since merged both datas and compiled it at the screenshot below for your preview. As of July 4, the total pips for this Demark Auto Forex System is at 7485 pips. The performance in July this month was not included in my total pips count.

The ideal balance to start is 4,000 if you are trading at 86 cents per pip. If you are starting with 1000 dollars in your live forex account, you should be trading at 0.02 lots in a standard account. With this setting, if we started from November last year trading with this EA, our return now would be around 173%. I am looking at 200% gain by next month August hopefully. I have also look at this system trading at fixed profit target, but the results is not really impressive actually. i still think that having 4 different TP will be ideal with this Demark Trendline system. ODL June Demark Expert Advisor Update

Last week was a very busy for me...that would explain to you as to why there was no updates lately. Over the past 2 weeks, I was also testing fixed lower TP value of a certain amount of pips and another test which is based on a fix trailing stop and a higher TP. Having a fix TP means that it will enable me go into compounding mode with this EA. The testing has been impressive so far on GBP/JPY compared to GBP/CHF. This test is actually done on 2 great brokers (I bumped into them recently) which offers quite low spreads (4-6 pips) on both this currency. I will let you guys know about this brokers next time once my EA is in full swing.

Alrites, lets move on to my analysis on June trades for the DemarkTrader Expert Advisor. I am still observing the performance of my original trendfilter while comparing it to another filter which I thought about recently. The pips are up to about 237 trading the EA without using the Trendfilter. There is 3 floating positions with SL at breakeven at the moment going into the weekend...let's see how it fares tomorrow. To be frank, I am still not satisfied with the overall performance of this EA, I think I can still improve on it.

ODL Demark Expert Advisor Nov 2007 - May 2008 Autotrading Results

I have done an analysis on Demark Expert Advisor over the weekend on ODL forex demo account to compare the results trading with the Trendfilter. Trendfilter ON means trading in the direction of the trend. The results I achieved so far is quite interesting and I wish to share with all of you.

These results were based on 2 different demo accounts which is 71909 (first account) and 212530 which i opened recently. I have compiled the results taking out the lot size, swaps and profit value because I was trading at different lot size in both accounts.

From my analysis, I would say that an opening balance of 4K is recommended if you are trading at $10,000 Lot which gives a return of $0.86 per pip. This would be an ideal balance if you wish to preserve your account to last longer. If you are trading at 1K balance, then a $2,500 Lot is recommended. Of course, if you are more conservative, then I would encourage you to have a higher balance but please remember that your return will be lower. Low Risk = Low Gain.

This simply means Recommended Lot = ($10,000/account balance).

A $10,000 Lot size simply means 1 Lot on a MINI ACCOUNT OR 0.1 Lot on a STANDARD ACCOUNT.

Usually when a trade executes, about 3-4 positions will be opened which means expect 3-4 Lots to be opened on a MINI ACCOUNT.

Using this expert advisor on different brokers will yield different results. I will post my FXDD results later so that you guys can compare the difference. Rite now I am only testing this EA on ODL, FXDD and Interbankfx. I am going to test on another MT4 broker which is quite reputable in the forex market. I hope this broker can give a result almost similar to ODL. If it does, then I will let you guys know who this broker is.

As you can see, total pips difference is not that many. However, trading without Trendfilter can be a disaster when you look at the losses in March (-902) and last month May (-1,544). Imagine if you guys traded this EA on May with Trendfilter OFF, could have wipe off 38% of your account easily. Looking at these results, maybe when I release this EA for sale it will be trading with Trendfilter ON only. One more thing, maybe we should just ignore the November results...I am gonna post the FXDD results in a few days time which are the results for April and May. I hope to release this EA for sale really soon. Stay tuned to my forex blog.

FXDD DeMark Expert Advisor May Update

At this moment, seems like May would be a month I like to forget about...Things have not been doing well on the DeMarkTrader Auto Forex System. Earlier in the week trades was up by 576 pips before losing 949 on the last 2 days of trading to close at -373 pips loss for this week. Overall for the month of May, the account lost about 1,019 pips...anyway, the account is still up by 1,990 pips (that's a gain of 19% so far since April)

I am still confident that my expert advisor will work well in all market conditions. Bear in mind though, we have to expect some losses in some calendar months throughout the whole year of trading. If we have sound money management, losses will be at the minimal. This system alone made more than 6,000 pips alone from December to mid April, so i am very confident that it will be a very profitable system. Remember, my objective is always to help you guys make money in forex trading.

FXDD Auto Trading System Update

Not a smooth ride this week for the DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor in FXDD forex platform. Last week pip count was at 755 but this week heavy losses resulted in several trades brought down my total pips for May to 74 pips. Overall this account is still up about 30% since i started. I am still happy with the performance of this EA so far. If you are reading my forex blog for the first time, i demo tested this Demark method since end of November last year and it has been very promising to date.

While i was doing some forex trade analysis yesterday, I actually bump into something interesting on another project which i was working on. I found a method which made a 150% profit in 4 weeks only. This was actually done through compounding. This is indeed an interesting development on my side and I am all excited about it! :)

ODL DeMark Expert Advisor +576 Pips

What a sensational performance again by DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor today. These trades were actually open on the final hour of last Friday trading. ODL closed one hour later than FXDD enabling the long trades to be executed @ 2.0330, I was in my bed sleeping soundly by then. All trades were closed today, positive numbers for GBP PPI catapulted GBP/CHF to 2.05ish. Well, I was already in the trade well before this news announcement...Like I had said previously, who cares about the news anyway? Our Demark method is purely technical. Period.

576 pips gain from all 4 positions from the trade taken on Friday. Impressive number. Within few days we have recovered from -636 pips to +424 pips. That is really powerful. I told you guys before this on my previous ODL post that this Demark Expert Advisor will bring us back into profit by month end...looks like it achieved the target within middle of the month. We will make plenty of money trading this method folks, just hang on...I am still doing some tweaking this EA...alot of you have been asking me when I will release this EA for sale, patience my friends...please subscribe to my blog via email. At least you will get the latest news when this EA is released for sale in the very near future.

FXDD Forex Profits Up By 270 Pips

Different result in FXDD if compared to ODL. ODL gained 484 pips compared to FXDD 270 pips only. Price feeds in ODL and FXDD are different, that's why the results are different. Ok lets' go back to our FXDD analysis for this week as promised by me earlier. The 2 trades which resulted one pip losses were due to some error in the DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor. I will investigate on this. However rest assured, this is a just minor bug in my EA. Overall it is performing to meet my high standard requirement.

ODL Auto Trading No Loss 484 Pips Profit

I told ya my DeMarkTrader Auto Forex System will make a comeback this week. The -636 pips loss experienced on 1st of May is on the way to breakeven, I think by end of next week we will be in profit folks...geez folks, can you handle the -636 pips loss in your first day of autotrading if you switch on this forex Expert Advisor on that uneventful day? Hey, with proper money management, you won't blow your account that quick with my trading strategy...but if you overtrade, then blame it on your greed...I blow off few accounts before when i started..you know why? GREED. Period.

Ok let's review this week trades which ended yesterday.

NO LOSS TRADING WEEK. 10 of the trades were breakeven. My DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor has a special trailing stop feature which will breakeven trades when certain conditions are met. If you look at my last trades on Friday, we could have gotten more pips. I manually set a trailing stop value because of other factors which i considered. Hey, guess wat, the last trades we profited about 259 pips...I know, we could have made more...Folks, NEVER let a winning trade to be a losing one...

WARNING! If you use my EA to autotrade next time, please don't nag to me and blah blah blah that you could have gotten more pips! If you want more pips, then don't set the trailing stop but if market reversed and your SL got hit, blame it on your GREED. Don't whine and grumble to me if you didn't follow my instructions when using the EA next time. Hey where are in here together because we want to make money yah...Oh well, maybe I embed this Trailing Stop feature into the EA INSTEAD of setting it as an OPTION...

I have done my research forward testing on 15 pairs with this DeMark Expert Advisor and I can tell you that not all pairs are profitable. The closest pair came to matching GBP/CHF is GBP/JPY...but Sterling Yen is not as consistent compared to Sterling Swiss...that's the reason i dropped it from using this system...

Let's total them up for the whole month of May to date:

FXDD DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor Update

Short positions were carried over the weekend and close today. My Demark Forex Trading System have proven itself as a winner and winning alot of pips in the process. I have analyzed 15 currency pairs which I tested way back last year November. Consistency is what my Demarktrader Expert Advisor is all about. This auto forex system has been consistent with its performance over the last 5 months using ODL broker feeds and I am confident it will work well with FXDD too!

Oh well, i just started testing FXDD with this EA for a couple of weeks now. Results have been promising. Today the EA bagged about 443 pips to finish off May trading so far at 485 pips. Last week the EA had 4 wins and 3 losses as you can see from my forex demo statement below. Sometimes this EA will open between 2 to 4 trades at one time depending on the feeds it gets from the broker. If you do not use Trendfilter, this means EA can open up to 8 positions (4 buy and 4 sell) at one time...I have seen it happening before when both trendlines are broken in the space of a couple of hours...

The FXDD forex demo account is now up by 34% with a total of 3,494 pips since starting. For the 2 weeks of April, the EA collected a total of 3,004 pips! This is truly my favorite expert advisor at the moment. I did not activate my trendfilter for this FXDD test, this simply means that it will open long and short positions regardless of the trend at this moment.

When you get your hands on this EA next time, it is your choice which broker you prefer to trade it on. My Tested brokers so far is FXDD, Interbankfx and ODL. If you choose other than these 3 MT4 brokers, then I will say...TRADE it at your OWN RISK. Don't say I didn't warn you alright.

ODL DeMarkTrader Auto Trading System Update

The new account testing on ODL Forex Broker MT4 platform using DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor which started from 16/4/2008 has been profitable and consistent. Previous account testing on ODL which i have since stopped yielded 6200 pips within 5 months (Using Trendfilter). If you missed this posting, you can refer here.

Let's analyze the April performance for my Demark auto forex system...well, not really full month of April though...

Oh well, it is still in the early weeks of May, I am confident that by end of this month, we will be in profitable zone. Overall performance, the account is still up by 1,415 pips, profit is up by 14% overall. The discretion to trade with or without the trend depends on you. I am not using trendfilter for this demo test, however, my live account is using trendfilter. Below is my latest forex statement from ODL.

Hey by the way, you wanna know how the DeMark expert advisor performed without trendfilter between April 1st to April 15th? Here it is, check out the screenshot below. It was running on my previous ODL account. Total 2,322 pips. If i add up to the pips on my new test account, the total is actually 4,373 pips. Whoa! That's the mother of all pips i call it!

DeMarkTrader EA FXDD Forward Test Update, Ahead Of FOMC Meeting

Whoa!!! Market is pretty bullish today...ahead of the FOMC meeting today taking place few hours from now...Oh well...who cares about the news anyway. My DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor is purely technical. This means it enter trades regardless on any fundamental analysis or news releases.

Past 2 days have been pretty good for this auto forex system, a total of 379 pips profit. The only bad new that one of my trades was not move into breakeven when I was in profit, maybe due to connection issues with FXDD. I did not encounter any problems with similar trades in ODL. This SL to breakeven error cost me -169 Pips. If there was no error with FXDD, I would have been up by about 548 pips this week.

Anyway my DeMark forex trading system software is doing pretty good at the moment, overall the account is up by 3,009 pips and 30% increase in profit.

This is how i define my risk setting when using the DeMarkTrader forex expert advisor.

Low Risk: 10K account, 3-4 positions x 0.10 lots (nearly 1 dollar per pip)

Medium Risk: 5K account, 3-4 positions x 0.10 lots (nearly 1 dollar per pip)

Aggressive Risk: 2.5K account, 3-4 positions x 0.10 lots (nearly 1 dollar per pip) ...

I hope you can see a pattern here. Bear in mind, this is my settings for your reference only. if you think the my risk setting is not suitable for your trading style, you can always lower down your lot sizes.

Anyway here is my latest FXDD forex demo account statement using this EA. I will be updating my ODL demo trade statements in the next day or so...

Different Forex Trading Brokers Mean Different Results!

Let's compare FXDD and ODL forex trading results today using DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor. I manually changed my long position ODL First Take Profit target today to 2.0605 from 2.0800 and adjusted my trailing stop value as I felt that the original first TP was abit far to my liking...

Price hit my trailing stop loss position at 2.0572 just now, closing all the trades for a 178 pips profit. I posted yesterday that there were long and short positions opened for my ODL forex demo account. The short trades were closed earlier today with a 47 pips profit overall. Total pips for ODL today was 225. This takes my total profit to 1,533 pips. I posted the screenshot of these stopped out trades below.

FXDD positions however were not stop out @ 2.0572 because the lowest price it went down to just now was shy of 1 pip @ 2.0573. You have ask me if these trading results are the same with all the brokers using DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor...my answer is NO.

FXDD price have since reversed to the upside and is now hovering at 2.0600 level. The forex trades in FXDD is currently up by about 120 pips. No worries, my FXDD trades are now profitable in case there is a big reversal in the next few days. Here is the screenshot of the FXDD trades which is still floating.

What do all these things mean to you? If there is active trades next time, I will personally send you guys a signal in case I wish to manually reset my trailing stop to certain value or change the profit target levels or stop loss level. My objective for you guys is for us to make money together trading the forex market!

DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor ODL Forward Test Update

Here is my latest update on DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor performance in ODL Demo account. At the moment, the pips are up to 1308 compared to 1034 pips last week. When I first started testing the EA on ODL, my Trendfilter was actually ON, only to be switched off at the beginning of this week. Because of this, the percentage gain so far is only 13%, lower if you were to compared it with FXDD forex trading demo platform. The recommended timeframe for this forex expert advisor is H1.

It is currently making about 46 pips per trade on average. I love ODL especially when trading GBP/CHF because the spread is only 6! It is the lowest compared to FXDD (8) and IBFX (9). But because of this small spread, the performance can be different if compared with FXDD and IBFX. If you look at my floating trades now, there is buy and sell orders opened. If you compared to FXDD demo, only buy orders are active now. One of my readers actually ask me if the performance is the same for all brokers, I would like to say now it is totally different. A Broker's spreads and price does influence the DeMarkTrader EA performance.

My last testing on ODL demo account which started on 29 November 2007 and ended on 15 April 2008 with Trendfilter OFF yielded a total of 6,022 pips. If i were to add with this new account test results, the total will be around 7,330 pips within 5 months. I am very impressed with this figure. This DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor is indeed a powerful and profitable forex trading system software.

DeMarkTrader EA FXDD Forward Test Update

Here is the latest summary on the DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor forward test result on FXDD Demo platform.

Pips was down from 2,725 to 2,557 at the close of this week trading yesterday. According to Dailyfx.com, GBP/CHF medium trend is up at the moment but the long term trend is still down. My TrendFilter is Off for this EA, so I don't bother about what is the trend now when the EA enters trade. My concept is simple, as long as Demark Trendlines are broken, trades will be filled.

Long trades work well this week with DeMarkTrader EA but shorts was on the losing end. At the time of this posting, i have 2 trades that is active and will be carried over to next week, the floats is up by about 25 pips at the moment. These 2 trades went as high as 190 pips total last Thursday, but a minor correction happened yesterday with the pair coming down to a low of 2.0453 before buyers came in again and end the day at 2.0548.

Since testing 7 days ago on a new FXDD demo forex account, the EA is now up by about 25% with an average gain of 64 pips per trade. The DeMarkTrader EA will open between 2-4 trades once it receives the autotrading signal. 911 Pips Missed By DeMarkTrader EA Today In Interbankfx Live Forex Account

DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor was behaving abit weird today in my Interbankfx live forex account today.

A short trade @ 2.0350 with TP @ 2.0150, 2.0131, 2.0106, 2.0102 should have been triggered actually by the EA in my live account but it didn't. When I checked the EA in my other Interbankfx Demo account, the trades were opened. I am still thinking rite now why the trade was not opened in my live account. All together I missed about 911 pips! That is a lot of pips to be missed! :(

The version I used in this EA was v12b which I applied to both my live and demo account. By the way, the MT4 version is Build 211. Same EA version, but one was a no trade...I need to investigate further why this thing happen today...There is a lot of request from all of you as to when you can purchase the EA, but I still think the EA has not reach a stable state yet. Because of this I cannot simply rush to sell my EA, that would be unfair to you rite... I want to sell an EA only when it works perfectly in demo as well as live account. Patient Guys!

I believe that this powerful DeMarkTrader Expert Advisor will be the key for you guys to make good money in the forex trading market. The minor challenge I faced today is just a temporary hiccup, let's hope that version 13c will perform better both demo and live trading forex accounts.

EA did not trade after 15 April because I upgraded from Build 211 to Build 215 and it was not able to open new trades due to bugs in Build 215.

DeMarkTrader EA has since been fixed to work in Build 215.

490 Pips Loss Last Friday

Not a good day for Demark Expert Advisor last Friday. I didn't monitor the EA last Friday as I was holidaying in Genting Highlands Resort, one of the famous tourist destination and casino in Malaysia...Been there before? Google it if you are curious to know about this place... I was there since Thursday and I only came back today...will post some of the pics I took there in my future posts...I came back to check my forex live account which was running this EA, only to see that I had a 490 pips loss over the weekend...

Here are the analysis of both trades

1. Sell GBP/CHF @ 1.9662 (406 Pips Loss) - Demark EA opened positions according to plan but there was alot of buyers waiting at this level, market reversed and the EA closed all positions with a 406 pips loss.

2. Sell GBP/CHF @ 2.0051 (84 Pips Loss) - Demark EA open 1 sell position @ 2.0051 and 3 positions at 2.0050. One pip makes all the difference, the 1st sell position @ 2.0051 was closed at breakeven but the other 3 positions did not...This is due to the price difference when the trades were opened.

Refer to my live forex statement to see the trades analysis. Overall, I am still up by 77 pips for April forex trading, still there is about 1 week plus to go...let's see how it closed for this month...My account is still up by 42% since March 2008

I made money trading forex with Demark Expert Advisor again!

I made money once more! Another impressive forex killer gain today by the Demark Expert Advisor. Forget about the missed opportunity trading the GBP/CHF pair last Friday by this EA...just wait for the rite trade setup and your profits will roll again with this EA... I am using this EA on my Interbankfx Metatrader Platform Version 4 Build 2.11 at the moment, switching from the previous Build 2.15

Yesterday i opened short trades at around 1.9723 and all my 4 positions hit respective profit targets today to closed with a profit of 327 Pips. That's a very huge gain. My SL was @ 1.9846. The positive retail sales number in the US pushed the pair up to 1.9833 which was only 13 pips from my SL...that is so so near... Bearish trend continued later as sellers came in again...The market is not looking very good for the bulls lately, with recession looming in the US, my bet is to be on the short side for this GBP/CHF pair at the moment. Remember, the trend is your friend.

My automated forex trading strategy has been quite impressive i would say. My live forex account profit rite now is up by about 66% from my original deposited amount. Total pips collected so far in April is 567 pips and March was 925 Pips, making it a total of 1492 pips. If you want to see my March results, please go to my previous postings. Missed Trades By Demark Expert Advisor

I updated my IBFX forex broker metatrader 4.00 from build 2.11 to 2.15 to see if there is any difference in opening trades by the profitable Demark Forex Expert Advisor. True enough, the EA opened trades in my demo forex account (Build 2.11) but in my live forex trading account (Build 2.15) it did not open any trades last Friday. I missed some good pips last Friday.

Trades Opened by Demark Expert Advisor in Demo Account

Sell GBP/CHF @ 1.9770 with TP @ 1.9696, 1.9658, 1.9636 and 1.9632 with SL 1.9917.

Lowest Point was @ 1.9659. Using my forex strategy exit rule, I would have exited with about 185 pips profit...

I told you that Friday was a good day to short this pair. However I did made money in my other live account which I opened trades manually. I have since reverted the EA to trade on Build 2.11 while trying to figure out why the trades did not opened in Build 2.15

Demark Expert Advisor Sold GBP/CHF @ 1.9694 Today

Ambitious! That's the word to describe my Demark Expert Advisor today... my Demark auto forex trading system software shorted GBP/CHF @ 1.9694 with four targets between 1.9160 to 1.9375. The EA was looking for a 320 pips target on my first Target Profit which didn't materialize.

My live forex account was gaining a total of 400 pips and I decided to trailstop them in case of any reversal. Well, strong reversal begun at 1.9579 and rite now the pair is floating around 1.9880. I only managed to book a total of 14 pips in total because of this reversal. Remember this, never ever let winning trades to turn out to be a losers yeah...at least i still made money in today's trade...

Past Tuesday and Wednesday I hope some of you made money shorting this pair. My Demark Expert Advisor didn't open any short trades as the added filters didn't give good signal to it to enter positions.

Tomorrow is Friday and I love trading forex on this day especially on the short side. Profit taking is always happening on Friday when most traders close all their positions to cash out their profits. If you are new, don't worry about holding open positions going into the weekend. It is fine as long as you know what you are doing. When I first started, most traders i know will advise me not to trade on Friday or hold positions into the weekend. As time goes by, I think it's all craps!

Let's hope we have a good short trade signal on GBP/CHF tomorrow...

My Metatrader Demark Expert Advisor Made Money Again!

Another Whopping Pips! Yesterday, the Demark Expert Advisor went into sell mode again trading the GBP/CHF in the forex market. As you can see from my live forex account below, the EA shorted this pair @ 2.0138 with SL of 2.0198.

After the trendline was broken, market reversed when i took my short position and rally abit up to 2.0188. Phew...just 10 pips shy of hitting my SL. Downtrend continued after that and market was ranging abit when during US market closing.

This morning i woke up and found out that 3 targets was met...i trailstop my last position to lock my profits in case the market reverse. It retrace abit before continuing another downtrend during the Euro/UK session and bottomed at 1.9887. I took profit early though with my Demark Expert Advisor preset targets, a total of 211 pips today.

My pips count as of today stands at 1151 pips since i started live auto trading in March. The account is now up by about 50% using aggressive settings... My total pips for April is 226. I am waiting for my account to rise to $400 before i double my lot size again. Wish me luck!

NonFarm Payrolls (NFP) Trades By Demark Expert Advisor

Two trades were triggered by Demark Expert Advisor last Friday, before and after the NFP news release. The EA took a short trade earlier @ 2.0155 with SL set to 2.0215. My SL was hit resulting a loss of 238 pips. This was just rite before the NFP news release. March Nonfarm Payrolls fell to -80k, which is a third consecutive decline after last January and February. US is heading for a recession, things are not looking good, but it will be good as long u remain on the short side for this pair though at the moment :) ...

Another short trade was triggered after the NFP news @ 2.0130, in which all of my 4 positions closed with profit of 253 pips. My forex trading result for now is up by 15 pips for the month of April. Little pips for the moment but still it's profit! I hope we can achieve good pips trading in April!

I think that trendline breaks is another simple way to trade the forex market. Some people might not agree with me though, well, good for you if you have other trading methods which giving you good profits. BUT I do not think commercializing part of an idea that i learned from some forex forum is wrong as i have also put some effort on my part to fine tune it...

My Demark Expert Advisor did not follow 100% the idea of Demark trendline break. What I did was that after analyzing my forex trading results by this EA in my Demo account which i started in November, I tweak it and added my own filters. By doing this, I was very confident with my EA that I started to run it on my live account last month, March.

Oh yeah, the deposit is only $213.27. A very small amount of money to you maybe... But at least it's good enough for me to run my EA live and make a 40% return last month. Oh by the way, I have other live accounts as well, I created this account just to track my Demark Expert Advisor live performance...

I have lost money trading in forex 2 years back when i started. Things didn't go well for me though at the start. Maybe you just started forex trading and is all excited rite now. I hope this enthusiasm will be in you always. I persevered and didn't give up my dream to become a profitable forex trader eventhough i experienced some major losses in my first year of trading. The money I lost is a blow to me as the amount is quite huge. Nevertheless, the dream is always alive in me and kicking! There is always ups and downs in forex trading, just be ready to face it!

Great performance by Demark Expert Advisor in March! The EA grabbed 925 pips for this month with a 40% increase of profit.

Here is my short analysis for live auto forex trading in March 2008.

Opening balance: 213.27
Closing balance: 298.18
Percentage Gained: 40%
Pips Captured: 925 Pips
Trade Setting: Aggressive, Risk between 10-40% of my account at times.

Bad Trades: Highlighted in Yellow. Additional Trade opened near reversal point during new trendline break, causing 3 huge losses of 717 pips. I have since rectified this problem in the Demark Expert Advisor.
Bad Holiday Trade: Easter Day, 558 pips loss. Moral of the story: Don't trade during holiday season when European and US market is not open...

My last short trades @ 1.9877 briefly touch 220 pips per position before closing about 120 pips per position. Profits were locked using manually set Trailing Stop. Took about 480 pips just these trades alone. Since then a very big rally to the upside for the past 2 days, around 450 pips roughly, rite now it is at 2.0100. I did not take this long trade as the GBP/CHF is still in bearish zone now.

I am looking forward to a good month in April trading using the Demark Expert Advisor. Rite now I am busy setting up the payment processor so that I can sell the EA real soon! Stay Tuned for the launch of this exciting EA!

Demark Expert Advisor GBP/CHF Live Trade Update

What an excellent start in forex trading this week! My GBP/CHF short trades opened by Demark Expert Advisor @ 1.9877 is in profit so far! Been a roller coaster ride for me in this trade since it was opened..last Thursday and also this morning during early Asian Session where the pair briefly touched 1.9934 before selling off and hitting a low of 1.9647 rite now as I am writing.

My target profits are quite big if you look at the chart i posted, so I manually put trailstops to all my orders to lock some profits in case market reverse before touching my first profit target. I have locked about total 480 pips at the moment.

I am still bearish on GBP/CHF at the moment. So no long trades by the Demark Expert Advisor at the moment! Let's see what happens later after lunchtime in US going into tomorrow Asian session. Go Bear! Go!

How to install DemarkTrader Expert Advisor & Demark Indicator

Installing Demark Indicator & DemarkTrader Expert Advisor.

The file Demark Lines.ex4 should be copied to the C:\Program Files\Interbank FX Trader 4\experts\indicators folder.

Then, the file DemarkTrader V12b(Your IBFX Account Number).ex4 should be copied to the C:\Program Files\Interbank FX Trader 4\experts\ folder.

After you have copied the file into the folder, please restart your Interbank FX Trader 4.

If all are done correctly, the Demark Lines and DemarkTrader Expert Advisor will be found in Navigator as shown below.

Open a new chart (H1) for GBP/CHF and in the Navigator windows, double click Demark Lines and click OK.

Then also double click DemarkTrader V12b(Your Account Number).

In Common parameter shown below, tick Enable alerts and Allow Live Trading.

To allow autotrading by an expert advisor, click on the Expert Advisors button on the panels of the Interbank FX Trader 4.

EA ENABLED

EA DISABLED

If all is correctly setup, the right top corner of the H1 GBP/CHF chart will appear the Expert Advisor symbol with a smiley face as shown below.

Voila! The DemarkTrader EA is on autotrading mode and does not demand your presence 24 hours per day again!

Demark Expert Advisor Live Trades Update

The short trades opened by the Demark Expert Advisor few days back is still floating. Went thru some bumpy rides on Thursday, with GBP/CHF rallying abit to 2.0088 before continuing its downtrend in Friday. I moved my SL manually from 2.0267 to 2.0097 after US trading Lunchtime to minimize any losses (in case) going into the weekend before I went to bed.

I woke up this morning to see that the forex rate is now at 1.9838, that's a gain of about 158 pips (4 positions). I have not close them yet. Let's see what happens when the market opens on Monday...
Account is still up 19% with a gain of 444 pips so far this month.

Demark Expert Advisor Easter "EggPips" Break :(

Looking at my title, Easter Day didn't get really well for my forex trading. I was short GBPCHF @ 1.9999 going into Easter Day. Bad decision to let the Demark Expert Advisor run during last Thursday closing going into Easter Day. Volatility was low on Easter Day, Spreads was wide...and Monday morning Asian Session it spike and voila! It hit my SL @ 2.0138.

I think I will skip forex trading in the future during major holidays when market is close both in Europe and US. At least I learn something today, Easter Day Trading is a No No next time for sure!

The 4 short positions I opened resulted a 558 Pip Loss. It's ok. Losses is part of the game in Forex.

Today was a good day though! I earn some pips shorting GBPCHF @ 2.0167. I got 138 pips from 3 positions while the last position was breakeven.

After these trades, my total pips count is at 444 pips, down from last week's close of 864 pips. The account is still up at the moment, 19% profit from my starting balance. I am still happy with the performance of this EA.

Forex Trading Update: +864 Pips Auto Trading GBP/CHF in Live Account So Far...

What a week it has been in live forex for me! My Favorite Demark Expert Advisor briefly gained total 1,211 pips, up 88 pips from the previous week trades before closing for a total of 864 pips since the start of live auto trading. I am now short from 1.9999 going into the weekend. Let's see how the trades develop over the following week.

Looking at my forex live statement, you can see that I have highlighted some trades in yellow. These are actually new positions added by the Demark Expert Advisor when new trendlines are broken when price is moving in the same trend. However these 3 trades highlighted have resulted 717 Pips Loss. I am not too happy about these bad trades. I have added a new RULE to my EA and I have since tweak it over the weekend to rectify this problem. If not because of this problem, the EA would have bagged a total over 1,500 pips alone this month.

Well at least I am still in positive territory with my live account still up about 39%. Please bear in mind that this result was achieved using aggressive forex trading strategy, risking about 20-40% of my account. Last week alone i had 2 breakeven trades, on the 17th and 19th of this month which are highlighted in pink. My last profitable trade was close for 88 pips profit. However the 88 pips profit was later erased as the EA took a bad trade which resulted a 347 Pips Loss! I have since rectified this problem in my Demark Expert Advisor.

Demark Expert Advisor Forex Trading Software System Update

Short GBPCHF (My Favorite Forex Pair at the Moment) @ 1.9723 with TP set to 1.9605, 1.9595, 1.9584, 1.9553

I was sleeping when this trade was opened by the Demark EA. I woke up only and found that it was actually making good pips, temptation to close was there...but it's automated rite, so let's not interfere with the trades. Lowest bid price was actually 1.9602, this means taking into consideration of the spread, it was actually 1.9611. I missed my first target profit by 6 pips only...that would be 400 pips gain this morning alone IF i were to manually set it to 100 pips per position...IF is a word most traders like to use in forex trading... :)

Anyway i chose not to interfere with my EA and let it run...

The Demark Expert Advisor actually moved all the the orders to breakeven few hours later. All orders was finally closed with no profit when market reversed...and i needed to pay the overnite swaps... :(

Anyway if anyone was on the long side today, you must be having a good time harvesting fat pips...easily could have made about 300 pips, looking at the chart rite now...nice rally today... I didn't take the trade as I have configured my forex EA to take short trades only at this moment...maybe we see another new low by this week? Who knows rite...after last Monday big dip...anything can happen...

Forex Trading Update: Demark Expert Advisor Scoop Up 1,042 pips over the weekend!

Wow!!! That's what I could only say to myself this morning when I woke up to see my MT4 Interbankfx forex platform. My Demark Expert Advisor closed the last 3 floating positions and made a total 1,042 pips from the 4 orders opened last Friday!

GBPCHF drop about 200 pips over the weekend, which I expected it anyway...however I didn't expect panic selling across Asia during today's open..about 700 pips drop in GBPCHF this morning alone hitting a record low at 1.9377...Spillover effect from last Friday US session heavy selling I guess...Those who were long GBPCHF and GBPJPY over the weekend, I just hope that you guys have recovered from this morning shock...

I DID NOT EXPECT THIS HUGE DROP IN ASIAN SESSION...

The money made so far from my automated forex trading is good! I am up about 51.8% from my initial deposit $213.27 making my current balance now $323.90. So far since inception, the Demark Expert Advisor have scoop up a total of 1,123 pips to date...I would say it a very impressive performance by this EA! Let see how this EA will perform in the whole of this month forex trading.

Currency Trading Update : Demark Expert Advisor Live Results On InterbankFX Forex Broker

I began testing the Demark Expert Advisor since the end of last month February on the Interbankfx Forex Broker MT4 Trading Platform. On some occassions, I did notice that profit targets in forex live accounts were abit different if we compared them with forex demo accounts. This is maybe due to the difference in price bar between live and demo forex accounts. I have also seen that there are some trades taken in demo but were not taken in forex live account because of this.

Anyway, my automatic online currency trading system using the Demark Expert Advisor did went smoothly up to yesterday, opening trades as i want them to... So far so good. I have added some filters to the EA so that it will be profitable and will only open trades in direction of the longer time frame trend...if everything works well, i think this Demark Expert Advisor will be release for sale soon in April or May.

My forex gains on this EA has been YoYo since I started...Down about 224 pips at the beginning during February trades. In 1st week of March, the Demark Expert Advisor close with 68 Pips profit...last week, it closed with a 416 pips profit...In total, I have book 260 pips since i started this forex autotrading system. My live account is currently up about 11% from my balance..Do remember though, looking at my trades, I am risking about 20-30% of my account each time the EA open all 4 positions...This is very aggressive! I am willing to take this risk as I know what I am doing and I take full responsibility for any of my losses.

I just check the currency trading rates in Reuters UK site, GBPCHF is at 2.0145. I have 3 open positions at the moment with TP @ 2.1054, 2.0138 and 2.0119 and I expect to have at least 2 of the positions, if not all 3 positions, in the bag once i reopen my IBFX currency trading platform this coming Monday. If all 3 positions are hit, my account should be up about 50% from my starting balance. At the moment, I am still seeing bearish trend on GBPCHF and the trend have not reversed yet...With all the uncertainties in the financial market lately, it would not be wise to trade against the current bearish trend in my opinion...

March Demark Expert Advisor Trading Performance in ODL H1

I have been busy for the past few days, my country Malaysia just had a general election to form a new government yesterday. I voted and I followed the election results yesterday till the wee hours in the morning...

It was really exciting! Our ruling government just managed to secure simple majority this time, short of the 2/3 majority they were targeting initially. The ruling party have been taught a lesson by the people of Malaysia. We can label this election as their worst. It was their heaviest defeat all time. 5 states from the total 13 states fell to the opposition for the first time! A new record in Malaysian Election History! Massive losses to the ruling government indeed! I am going to have a new state government too!

Talking about massive losses, I too experienced huge pips losses in the first week of March trading the Demark Expert Advisor on my ODL H1 currency trading platform. -3,721 pips to be exact!

All pairs performed badly this week. Only GBP/CHF, GBP/JPY and USD/JPY was gaining pips this week. Let's hope that my Demark Auto Trading System will show a better results this coming week. Account was up briefly at about 65% profit early this week, before reducing to 30% at the close of last week...

I will be opening a live account with ODL soon and run my Expert Advisor there to compare the live results with the ODL demo platform. At the moment I am trading this EA live with Interbankfx..it is performing well as an EA, opening orders without any bugs so far. If the EA is on the rite track, i will release it for sale this coming April or May.

I have compiled the auto trading results run on the Demark Expert Advisor on the ODL platform on various pairs (15 to be exact). Below will be my analysis by currency pairs.

I had a loss on the GBP/CHF auto trade this month. The Demark Expert Advisor opened a trade which was not suppose to be triggered. My connection to ODL was lost about 4 hours, immediately after reconnection, the trade was open eventhough the bar was within both trendlines. As a result, I suffered about 4,000 USD loss on this trade. Looking at my account balance, if we ignore this error, account balance should have been around 151K. That is an increase of 51% profit since inception (3 months). That is a return about 16-17% monthly. At the moment of writing, the floating profit is at 11K...not bad...

Looking at the Demark Expert Advisor Forex Performance, I am very impressed with GBP/CHF and GBP/JPY results so far. GBP/CHF and GBP/JPY bagged a total of 4,956 Pips and 3,093 Pips respectively. As for other pairs, I am still not that convinced that they are profitable over the long term. Let me test them further.

I am also currently testing this system to trade following the Daily Trend on Interbankfx. I hope additional filter = additional profit.

The release of the Demark Expert Advisor is still on hold. I am doing more testing at the moment. I know that alot of you readers out there is asking me when I am going to release this EA for sale; at the moment, I am still tweaking it. I am back. Been having some hectic days lately. My Demark Expert Advisor is still undergoing major forward testing. At the moment, I am only testing on 2 currency trading brokers which are Interbankfx and OLD Securities. So far I am pretty satisfied with my auto trading system on both these platforms. The only thing is that there is still some bugs to be fixed before I release it for sale...

Here is a true story which happened last week. On one occassion, an erratic trade was opened on in the ODL platform for the GBP/CHF pair. I was disconnected for about 4 hours and when it reconnected, trade was open even though the price was in between both trendlines...Weird.. It should not have open in the first place. Well, i am working to fix this bug to make sure such things won't happen in the future...I will post this erratic trade on my ODL Demark Trading analysis in my next post...

For my loyal readers out there who can't wait to purchase this EA, please be patient. I wouldn't want to rush into selling my EA to you all. Although I can't wait to sell it, but I need to ensure that only quality EA will be sold; that is after extensive testing have been done and most important I do not get weird trades opening.

In this latest update, I am focusing on the Demark Expert Advisor performance trading the GBP/CHF on the Interbankfx Platform on the Hourly Timeframe. I have decent results for the past 2 months, +1,221 pips for January and +259 Pips for January to date.

GBP/CHF Auto Trading System Results for January and February 2008

If you look at my statement, you can see that my trade lots are different. This is because I am testing the Money Management aspect for the EA which is based on Equity Stop. What this means is that I will risk a predetermined amount of my account on a total of all 4 trades. I have set it to 2.5 percent for each trade, this means risking a total 10% of my account in for all the 4 trades opened. Once the equity risk % and stop are determined, the EA will then open the appropriate lot size. At the moment the EA is opening the lot size as I wanted. However I am still testing this MM feature to make sure it's working fine.

With a 10% risk, the EA have been making a total of 73% profit for the past 2 months. Impressive returns! However 10% would be considered as very aggressive to me. I would not recommend this setting for anyone who is going to trade using this EA in the near future. My personal recommendation is to risk about 4% if you have to open 4 positions at once. If the EA can return about 10-20% monthly, I am more than happy. Let's preserve our account for the long term. 10% monthly will generate about 120% return annually. Let's not be greedy. However if you wish to risk 10% of your equity, it's your choice.

By adding a daily filter to the Demark Expert Advisor, I have eliminated bad trades from opening. However when I compare my results in Interbankfx (using Filter) with the ODL (No Filter) platform, I noticed that the results of trading in ODL for the GBP/CHF pair is just as impressive. In my EA, i will have an option if you would like to use the filter or not.

Looking at my last live currency trading which i bagged about 360 pips on the GBP/CHF pair, we could have earned more pips if I let my last trade to run instead of exiting at my preset TP at 2.1654. It rallied down further till 2.1257... Wow! Another 400 pips profit if i were to let it run! I am now thinking of manually changing my fourth trade TP so that i can grab more pips! At the moment I am still bearish on GBP/CHF. For this week, my EA is all set to run in my live account. Let's see how the Demark EA will perform in this coming week.

I am convinced that this EA will work well trading the GBP/CHF pair. For the other pairs, I am still testing. I hope that the GBP/JPY will show some consistency as well. Rite now GBP/JPY is in negative territory; Let's hope it's fortune will reverse this week. As for other pairs, I am still not convinced that it will be consistend over the long run though...

Live Forex Trade GBP/CHF +360 Pips Today

I made money selling GBP/CHF mini lots today and book around 360 pips! Fantastic!

I'm out of the market now, although the selling pressure is still on...it's around 2.1631 as I am writing now. I am predicting it to fall and consolidate around the 2.1539 area... :) Let's see if my prediction is true or not later today or maybe tomorrow...

I expected some pullbacks for the bar after the TD trendline was broken. So i manually set limit orders at 2.1750 instead of the bar open which was 2.1748 :)

GBP/CHF +539 Pips, GBP/JPY +243 Pips Forex Auto Trading System

2 trades were open on the 11 February 2008 by the Auto Trading System Expert Advisor (EA) that I am currently test running. So far the auto trading and testing has been quite smooth. I am very happy with it's performance so far.

Both trades were Sell GBP/CHF and Sell GBP/JPY which yielded 539 Pips and 243 Pips respectively. All trades were open by the Auto Trading System after the TD Trendline has been broken.

This Auto Trading System was set on H1 Chart using IBFX Trading the TD Trendline Break.

No Losses was recorded...well except for some interests paid in a few orders.
All trades were opened to follow the Daily Trend only.

ODL H1 Forex Trade Summary Update

Updated Auto Trading System on ODL Platform

ODL account balance is at 24% profit, down from 35% from the previous analysis. Last trades was opened on the 28/1/2008. I didn't open further positions till now as I am kinda busy preparing for the coming Lunar New Year. I will let the current positions to run now and see how it closes for this week. I will resume my test on ODL next week once I am back from my Lunar New Year Holidays!

Looking at the analysis, I am getting really good and consistent results for GBPCHF, GBPJPY and EURCAD. My OBJECTIVE to do this test is to find the best pair to make money for Demark Trendline Trading in this blog of mine. So far these 3 pairs have been consistent for the past 2 months.

EURJPY @ -1327 pips and GBPUSD @ -1803 pips is the worst performers for this month. I am surprised by EURJPY performance this month though..I thought it would perform better.

Alternative Forex Trade Setup for GBPCHF

Looking at the setup for the GBPCHF trade i took on the 18/1/2007, i thought of another way to limit your money losses in case the SL is hit.

My Analysis GBP/CHF Chart

Sell order triggered on the break, enter only 1 position.

What I do next is, i will calculate the entry price and the SL to get the difference so that i know where i can place my next 2 limit orders.

Looking at the chart, if SL is hit, total pip loss is only 237 pips compare to if i enter all 3 positions the same time which is 354 pips.

If you wish to open total of 4 trades, then divide the pips difference by 4 so that you how where to place the balance 3 limit orders.

Perfect GBPCHF Forex Auto Trading System

I took this trade on the 18/1/2007 using the Auto Trading System on the H1 timeframe and all the TPs were hit on the same day. Total pips for 3 trades was +456.

My Money is on the GBP/CHF pair!

I entered the trade on the next bar open after the lower TD line had been broken. If i would have waited for a pull back for this bar, for sure my profits will be much bigger. Like i say, it's a personal choice..some people like to trade on the break, others like to wait for pullbacks.

So far the gains made by this monster is damn impressive! This monster bagged about 3,216 pips for the month of December 2007.

What a rollercoaster week on the Auto Trading System!

Total Profit on ODL was up about 55% and my equity touch 81% for the first time! I didn't close all my profits as I wanted to see how the week will end if i didn't move my stops to breakeven or trailstop it. Looking at the results now, I wished I have move them to breakeven at least :)

At least it's making money rite now..

Rite now closing profits is at about 35% but my equity is about 25% only. I will be experimenting another set of H1 trades using IBFX but with trailstops for comparison sake...i have a feeling that putting TS will improves the profits!

My favorite pairs so far is GBPCAD,GBPCHF, GBPJPY, EURJPY. EURCAD and USDJPY.

EURJPY took a huge beating this week! Closed at -1019 pips!

But my money is on GBP crosses. I hope they can give consistent results over the next 3-6 months. Remember, the objective of this test is to find profitable pairs using this method.

I was chatting to a friend of mine few days back and he asked me if I had anyway to earn an extra income as his pay as a government officer is not really comfortable to his liking...so i asked him to go check out this blog of mine and this was his feedback to me...

Friend: I do not have a clue what your website is all about mate...
Me: Oh really? It's forex...
Friend: Huh? What's that? Isit something like stockmarket? I do see alot of charts in your site but I really do not understand it man...
Me: It's buying and selling currency...Oh..Nevermind..I tell you more next time then...

I had to leave and i left him somewhat puzzled...From that moment, I knew that my blog is way advanced for a normal person who have no clue watsoever about forex trading. I think i need to write about some introduction for forex newbies soon!

I asked him to go to my blog just to see what would his reaction be so that I know what info I am missing out in this blog of mine...

Forex Updates on my Demark Trading H1

Hi guys,

I have completed my Forex Auto Trading System analysis for January trades to date.

Timeframe: H1
Broker: ODL
Currency: Multiple

The account was briefly up about 40% at the start of the week but took some bad hits in the midweek to end at about 27% rite now...

Looking at the results above, i think GBPCHF, GBPJPY and EURJPY looks like great pairs to trade using this system..maybe because of its volatility..try it out and see for yourselves.

I am quite cautious about USD pairs though...i hope to see a few good USD pairs that can have consistent profits for the next few months, rite now USDJPY is giving me some hope.

I have not traded on ODL H1 timeframe since beginning of January till now as i ran into some problems with my OLD CHEAPSKATE provider JARING

They disconnected me on New Year's Day and they left me fuming when they refuse to resume my DSL services because i had an outstanding bill of 2 Ringgit and 50 cents (Less than 1 USD). I was using their services since the Dial Up Days (since 1998) and this is how they treat me!

I have since changed to a new provider. At this moment, I am testing the Demark trades on IBFX platform using the H1 & H4 timeframe with additional filter...

I will keep you guys updated on new results...

I have done a small analysis by pairs for Demark H1 trades using ODL feeds. I think that GBP Crosses is showing alot of potential to be profitable pairs using this timeframe. I will let it run for January 2008 and see how all the pairs will perform...but at the current moment, i think GBP Crosses are my favorites! For GBPUSD...let's give it a benefit of doubt first...I truly hope that all of you readers out there have benefited from my analysis. Our goal is to make money in this brutal forex market.

Updates on my Auto Trading System

For H1 ODL, i am trading at 1 standard lot with 100k balance, pip value is between 8.64 - 10$ per pip.

For H4 IBFX, i am trading at 1 mini lot with 10k balance, pip value between 0.86 - 1.00$ per pip.

Please don't confuse yourself with my data.

I get the Realised Pips just by calculating the difference between Close n Open price.

H4 Testing on the Auto Trading System was started since 14 December

EURCAD chart was distorted, I am not sure why...maybe technical glitch..any of u experience the same thing for this pair? Try open H4 EURCAD n see for yourself..For this i have excluded the results for this pair.

The account is up about 22%, (around 2,2000) from the initial demo deposit of 10K if we do not include EURCAD.

I am trying to be more profitable maybe one option is that if my TP is too big (more than100 pips per position), I will move the SL to BE when in +50 Pips Profit. Has any of u try this before? Appreciate if u can give me some feedbacks.

Work @ Office has taken its toll that I finally decide to automate my forex account...It's hard to trade when you have a 9 to 5 job which requires your butt to get out there to meet people...Yupz..I'm a Sales CONsultant =)

I'm abit conservative here...So lets autotrade EURUSD @ Lot Size 20,000 in My Mini Account...2 Bux per Pip on a 2,500 USD Account.
